Finding your way
back to peace
and clarity.
Depression and anxiety can make even the simplest day feel impossible. At Tosha Life, I offer a compassionate, evidence-based space to explore what's weighing you down, and to build, together, a path back to feeling like yourself again.

If any of these feel familiar…
Depression and anxiety show up differently for everyone. You don't need a diagnosis to deserve support, if even one of these resonates, this work may be for you.
Many people live with low mood or anxiety for years before reaching out. There's no wrong time to begin.
You feel persistently sad, flat, or empty, and it's been going on longer than you can explain.
Worry follows you through the day: about work, relationships, health, the future, everything and nothing.
You've lost interest in things you used to enjoy, and even small tasks feel like mountains.
Sleep is broken, either you can't get enough of it, or it won't come at all.
You feel irritable, on edge, or tearful in ways that don't match what's happening around you.
You're functioning on the outside but exhausted on the inside, and nobody seems to notice.
A gentle, structured path.
Every person's experience of depression and anxiety is different. But the arc of the work tends to follow these stages, always at the pace you need.
Understanding
We begin by gently mapping what you're experiencing, the feelings, the patterns, the history. No rush, no assumptions.
Root causes
Together we explore what's underneath: the beliefs, the losses, the life events that shaped where you are now.
Cognitive work
Using CBT and REBT, we identify the thought patterns that keep anxiety and depression in place, and gently rewrite them.
Skills
Practical, daily strategies for managing overwhelming moments: grounding, breathing, boundaries, self-compassion.
Integration
Building a life that supports your wellbeing long-term, routines, relationships, and a kinder inner voice.
Evidence-based tools, warmly applied.
Depression and anxiety respond well to structured, evidence-based work, especially when it's held in a relationship of trust and genuine care.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
The gold standard for anxiety and depression, identifying and restructuring the automatic negative thoughts that quietly run your day.
Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy
Working at the level of core beliefs: the "I'm not enough" or "nothing will work" stories that keep you stuck.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
When emotions feel too big to hold, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and mindfulness woven into daily life.
There is no "right" level of suffering.
You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support. Whether your depression is quiet or loud, whether your anxiety is manageable or paralysing, you are welcome here, exactly as you are.
What begins to shift.
Most clients notice meaningful changes within the first 6–10 sessions of consistent work.
The fog lifts
Mornings feel less heavy. Decisions come a little easier. You start noticing colour again.
Worry loosens
The anxious loop quiets, not all at once, but enough that you can breathe between thoughts.
Energy returns
The things you'd stopped doing, seeing friends, cooking, moving, start to feel possible again.
You feel steadier
Not perfect. Not "fixed." But present, grounded, and able to meet the day on your own terms.
I'd been anxious for so long I'd forgotten what calm felt like. Dr. Swapna helped me find it again, not by giving me answers, but by helping me hear my own.A client · Online sessions, 2025
